Problem Troubleshooting measure
After rinsing, only cold
water comes out during
start-up.
> Repeat start-up.
> Make sure that the water tank has been filled sufficiently with water.
> Do not interrupt the rinse procedure.
The ready indicator flashes
red.
No water is released.
Is the water tank empty?
> Fill the water tank with cold water.
Is the float blocked in the water tank (see Fig. 7)?
> Where necessary, remove all foreign particles blocking the float.
> Descale the water tank.
The x2 button flashes red. The appliance needs descaling.
> Descale the coffee pad machine.
Pump emits loud noises. Has the suction cap been fitted correctly (see Fig. 7)?
> Check to ensure that the suction cap is fitted securely to the floor of the water
tank.
The suction cap still needs to be fitted securely even if you are not using a water
filter.
