Assembly of lid from the bottom:
Instead of the upturned metal edge, older versions of the coffee urn have a plastic ring which is clipped onto the

place disk on screw
next the small subdivided disk
on top (1 hole)
then the large subdivided disk
(3 holes)
and finally the cover
place the plastic
knob base on the
end of the screw
with the thread
upwards
screw on the
knob
Using a bayonet cap, the lid is screwed
on the upturned edge
of the body of the pot.
