Check the travel of the brake lever when applied. Excessive travel
could indicate worn pads or air in the brake fluid. Both which
would need to be addressed by replacing the pads, or bleeding the
brake assembly prior to riding.
* Check for the wear on the front disc rotor. Any signs of
warping or irregularities in the surface of the brake rotor can
cause vibration, lower braking force, and increase the stopping
distance. Replace if needed.
