Slowly and carefully back up your tractor until
you are close and centered on the backhoe
as pictured. (Turn off the engine and set the
parking brake)
Measure to ensure that there is enough space
around the PTO shaft for the pump to slide
onto the shaft (see page 14). There must
be 7-3/4” in the area
indicated by the arrows.
This is not uncommon
on smaller tractors, if you
do not have the required
clearance, a PTO shaft
extender must be installed.
PTO shaft extender installed (red arrow) This
quick release PTO extender part # SP16612
can be purchased through WoodMaxx or at
most agricultural supply store.
Pump slides right onto the PTO shaft, there are
no pins required.
