Why won't my Worx WX439L cut a straight line?
    • V
      Virginia MuellerJul 27, 2025
If your Worx Saw blade isn't cutting straight, it could be due to several reasons. Sawdust might have accumulated at the rear of the base; try shaking it out or consider connecting a vacuum for dust collection. The blade might not be tightly engaged with the spindle; in this case, remove and reassemble the blade as described in the Mounting and Removing the Blade section. Also, the blade could be dull, so mount a new, sharp blade. Ensure the blade is properly mounted, and consider using a parallel guide if you're not guiding the saw correctly.

What to do if Worx WX439L blade kicks back when beginning a cut?

If the blade of your Worx Saw kicks back when starting a cut, it could be because the saw blade teeth are engaged in the material. Before restarting, center the saw blade in the kerf and ensure the teeth aren't engaged. Another reason could be that the blade isn't spinning fast enough; allow the saw blade to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
