Why is the cutting depth less than set on my Worx WX439 Saw?
- MMark BryantJul 28, 2025
If the cutting depth on your Worx Saw is less than what you've set, the following reasons and solutions can help: * Sawdust might have accumulated at the rear of the base. Shake out the sawdust and consider connecting a vacuum for dust collection. * The blade may not be tightly engaged with the spindle. Remove and reassemble the blade as described in the Mounting and Removing the Blade section. * The blade might be dull, improperly mounted, or the saw isn't being guided correctly. Mount a new, sharp blade, ensure it's properly mounted, and use a parallel guide. * The saw blade teeth may be engaged in the material when starting, or the blade isn't spinning fast enough. Before restarting in the workpiece, center the blade in the kerf and allow it to reach full speed before cutting.
