Chapter 2: CONFIGURATION OF THE VIEW-R
CONFIGURATION REQUIREMENTS
The View-R comes with a preset IP address. The user provides
the power and links to the View-R via web browser login. The
device has the capability to load all its configuration settings
from a saved file.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A computer with a standard EtherNet port.
• Or USB keyboard and monitor.
INITIAL SETUP PROCEDURE:
1. Directly connect a laptop to the View-R via a Cat5 EtherNet
cable.
2. Configure your laptop LAN connection to communicate on a
192 network. Example: IP= 192.168.0.200, Subnet Mask=
255.255.255.0
3. Launch your web browser and enter the View-R default IP
address followed by “:8080” Example -192.168.0.250:8080
4. This will launch the View-R Configuration screen.
