      If your Xantrex Battery Charger's starter battery isn't charging, there might be a voltage difference issue. If the voltage difference between the house and starter battery exceeds 2 volts, the charge current will be reduced. If it's greater than 10 volts, the device will shut off, and the green LED will blink. Also, inspect the connections to both battery banks, check the fuses, and ensure the ground connection is secure.

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

Mounting Location

INSTALLATION

Battery Connections

Connect ground wire to negative battery, starter battery wire to positive terminal, and house battery wire to positive terminal.

Post-connection Operation

Turn charger ON after connections. Green LED indicates house battery and ground connected; charging begins with starter battery connection.

OPERATION

Automatic Switching and Voltage Limiting

Switches ON above 13.0/25.5V (steady green LED) and OFF below, limiting output voltage to 14.4/28.8V.

Thermal Shutdown and LED Indicators
