INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

Mounting Location

Mount vertically in a well-ventilated area, near batteries, away from moisture, dust, and flammable fumes.

Pre-connection Safety

Disconnect all charging sources before making connections; ensure no charging voltage is present.

INSTALLATION

Battery Connections

Connect ground wire to negative battery, starter battery wire to positive terminal, and house battery wire to positive terminal.

Post-connection Operation

Turn charger ON after connections. Green LED indicates house battery and ground connected; charging begins with starter battery connection.

OPERATION

Automatic Switching and Voltage Limiting

Switches ON above 13.0/25.5V (steady green LED) and OFF below, limiting output voltage to 14.4/28.8V.

Charge Current Graph

Graph shows the relationship between voltage differential and charge current for the echo-charge.

Thermal Shutdown and LED Indicators

Elevated temperature can cause red LED and shutdown; unit resets when temperature cools.

TROUBLESHOOTING
