CAUTION:
When removing the misfed
paper,
be careful
not to touch the bottom cover release lever,
springs or other
parts
inside
the bottom cover.
Be
careful
not
to touch or scratch the shiny
surface
of the
copy cartridge or expose
it
to
the
light for
an extended
period
of
time.
7. Carefully remove
the
misfed
paper.
.
lf the
paper
accidentally
tears, be sure
to remove
all of the
pieces.
Be careful
not
to damage the corotron wire.
8. Close the bottom cover securely.
9. Set the copier back to the normal
operating
position.
Note: Failure
to set the copier back to
the
normal
operating
position
before
turning the
power
on may cause the misfeed indicator
to
flash.
In this case,
set the copier in the
normal
operating
position
and turn the
power
off and then on.

O.Turn the oower on.

Ensure
that the indicator disappears.

the
misfeed
indicator
does not
disappear, repeat
steps 1 through 9.
