C. PREPARATION AND SET-UP
C.1 INSTALLATION
At first, make sure that the voltage setting of your unit is in accordance with your local supply line
voltage - see Fig. 1. Should this not be the case, contact your Dealer.
1. Connect the power cord with the power inlet on the rear of the control box (Fig. 1) and plug into
a wall socket with appropriate protective ground connection.
2. Connect the foot control by plugging its cable connector end into the socket on the rear of the
control box (Fig. 1).
3. Insert the bag hanger into its retainer on the rear of the control box (Fig. 1).
WARNING: To avoid the danger of electric shock, this device must be connected only to
grounded mains voltage.

C.2 SURGICAL PREPARATION
The following instructions will prepare the XO OSSEO SYSTEM for surgery.
NOTE! Appropriate sterile handling procedures must be observed to ensure and maintain sterile
conditions.
