disablement of Wi-Fi capability
• One-time breakable link has been introduced
into the motherboard to allow Wi-Fi
permanent disablement in hardware
• End-user shall make a conscious decision to
break the link
– Once broken, Wi-Fi capability is removed
indefinitely

• The 7-segment display is used for status and
diagnostics during the boot-up and the
firmware upgrade process
• Enables technical personnel and field
engineers to easily determine causes of
firmware upgrade failure should it occur
allowing expedient resolution
