1) Press the [D#1] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is
pressed).
3) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
* If the test result is OK, tests No.3 – No.6 can be omitted.
3 D1 3 D1 ROM
(Master ROM)
check 1
Executes the simplified check of the ROM checksum connected to the CPU bus.
1) Press the [D1] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is
pressed).
3) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
– – 4 E1 RAM check 1 Executes the simplified check of the RAM verification connected to the CPU bus.
1) Press the [E1] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is
pressed).
3) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.

Executes the simplified check of the Wave ROM checksum connected to the CPU bus.
1) Press the [F1] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is
pressed).
3) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
– – 6 A1 Effect RAM

Executes the simplified check of the Effect RAM verification connected to the CPU bus.
1) Press the [A1] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is
pressed).
3) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
9 B1 7 B1 Pitch check Checks whether or not the correct pitch is output from this instrument.
1) Connect the level meter to the [PHONES] jack.
2) Connect the frequency counter to the [PHONES] jack at either L or R.
3) Set the MASTER VOLUME slider to the maximum position.
4) Press the [B1] key, the A3 sine wave sound is produced.
5) Measure the frequency and confirm that the measured value is 441.0Hz ± 0.2Hz.

7) Measure the output level and confirm that the measured values are within the speci-
fied range.
