17. Turn the engine off and wait for 10 min-
utes.
18. Remove the engine oil tank filler cap, and
then add sufficient oil of the recommend-
ed type to raise it to the maximum level
mark on the dipstick.
Be sure to wipe off spilled oil on any parts af-
ter the engine and exhaust system have
cooled down.
19. Install and tighten the engine oil tank filler
cap.
20. Start the engine, and then let it idle for
several minutes while checking it for oil
leakage. If oil is leaking, immediately turn
the engine off and check for the cause.
21. Turn the engine off, and then check the
oil level and correct it if necessary.
22. Lower the cargo bed.
To change the engine oil and oil filter
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Lift the cargo bed up.
3. Remove the right rear panel by removing
the bolts and quick fastener screws as
shown.
