Yamaha utility vehicles are designed
to be simple to operate. However, be
sure to observe the following to
reduce the risk of serious injury or
death due to loss of control and
other hazards:
BEFORE OPERATING
THE UTILITY VEHICLE
l Read this Owner’s/Operator’s
manual and all safety and
instruction labels on the utility
vehicle before operating.
l Perform the pre-operation checks
found in Section 5 of this manual.
l This vehicle is recommended only
for operators 16 and older with a
valid motor vehicle license. Adults
must supervise use by minors.
Check state laws for minimum age
requirements.
l Do not allow more than two
occupants per seat. This utility
vehicle is restricted to two
occupants.
l Never give a ride to a passenger
who is unable to put both feet firmly
on the floorboard while seated with
his or her back against the back-
rest.
l Never carry passengers in the
cargo bed.
l Do not operate the utility vehicle
while under the influence of alco-
hol or drugs; their effect on vision
and judgment make operating a
utility vehicle dangerous.
l This vehicle was not manufactured
for use on public streets and does
not comply with federal motor vehi-
cle safety standards applicable to
passenger cars.
