1. Use extreme care in handling diesel fuels.
Diesel fuels are extremely flammable and the
vapors are explosive. Use only a container
approved by the local effective law.
2. Make sure to shut off the engine before
refueling. After refueling, replace fuel filler
cap securely and wipe off any spilled diesel
fuel before starting the engine as the diesel
fuel may cause a fire or explosion.
3. Do not smoke while refueling. Keep any
spark or open flame away from the fuel tank.
4. Never refuel the tractor indoors because
diesel fuel vapors will accumulate in the
area.
5. Never store the fuel container or tractor
indoor where there is an open flame or
spark, such as a gas water heater, space
heater or furnace.
