RETURNING THE ENGINE TO
SERVICE
1. Perform the Daily Checks on page 55.
2. Start the engine. Allow the engine to run
without load for approximately 5 to 10 minutes
while you check for:
(a) abnormal noises or vibration
(b) fuel and engine oil leaks.
3. Avoid prolonged operation at maximum load for
the remainder of the first hour of operation.
