• Close the fuel cock before refueling.
• Thoroughly wipe up any spilled fuel and allow any fumes to clear before
starting engine.
• Check for leakage from hoses and fittings and repair if necessary before
starting engine.

Starting Instructions - Recoil Start
1. Move engine speed lever to RUN.
2. Slowly pull starter handle until you feel
resistance and return the handle.
4. Push decompression lever down and release.
5. Pull starter handle quickly and slowly return.
Recoil
1. Move engine speed lever to STOP.
Read and understand the Operation Manual before you operate the generator.
Starting Instructions - Electric Start
1. Move engine speed lever to RUN.
2. Turn key to START and release.
Allow the engine to warm up for at least 3 minutes before connecting any appliances.
Stopping Instructions
Allow the engine to run with no load for
at least 3 minutes before stopping engine.

1. Turn key to STOP.
