(5-~ISTARTING
THE
ENGINE
Start
engine
only
from
operator's
rest.
NEVER
stan
engine while standing on ground.
1)
Open fuel shut-off valve.
IMPORTANT
2)
Place power shift lever and range shift lever
in
neutral position by depressing clutch
pedal.

Place PTO shift lever in neutral position to
close start safety switch.
4)
Turn off front PTO switch if
it
is
equipped.
Push
down
the switch to disengage the front
PTO.
5)
Place hydraulic control lever in lower posi-
tion.
6)
Push
throttle lever to the maximum
speed
position.
Slow
idk
&on
As-won
as
engine
starts,
pull
thmttle
about
halfway
back.
Do
not
run
a
cold engine
at
full
throttle.
7)
Turn key clockwise to first position (ON).
Check indicator lamps. Both oil
prenure
indicator and charging indicator should
glow. If they do not, consult your
YAN-
MAR
dealer.
