Improper handling of the device can cause injuries.
- The blade is sharp; take care when touching the blade.
- Do not reach underneath the device or into the
discharge chute.
- Do not operate the device when other persons or
animals are around.
- Do not operate the device if you are impaired (e.g.
under the influence of drugs, alcohol, medication or if
you are tired).
- Wear solid shoes, long trousers and hearing
protection.
- Watch out for the power cable as you might trip over it
and lose control of the device.
- Avoid working on wet grass as you might slip and lose
control of the device.
- Do not work on areas with an inclination above 20 %
as you might slip and lose control of the device.
- Always keep the discharge flap closed and keep away
from the discharge chute when working without a
collecting bag.
- Wait until the blade stands still before removing any
blockage or clogging and carrying out any other work
on the device.
