If the supply air blower motor on your York Heat Pump isn't starting, there are several things to check. First, make sure the thermostat fan switch is in the ON position. Verify the room thermostat has contact between R and G in the AUTO position during cooling. Ensure line voltage is supplied to the M3 contactor and that the contactor is engaged. Lightly touch the motor housing; if it's hot, it might be in internal protection mode. Cancel any thermostat calls, set the fan to AUTO, and wait for it to cool down before testing again. Check for 24 volts at the M3 coil; if present but M3 isn't engaged, replace the contactor. If line voltage is supplied at M3, M3 is engaged, but the motor still doesn't work, replace the motor.
