Resurfacing Patterns
The following diagram shows a good resurfacing pattern:

Leaving the Ice Surface
When leaving the ice surface after nishing a resurfacing (or any other time):
(See Figure 4.3)
Raise the cutting blade out of the ice.
Turn off conveyor.
Close the ice making water valve.
With the conveyor stopped, raise the machine fully by operating the lift valve
lever.
If dumping outside, reposition the towel bar assembly to the raised position
on the resurfacer to avoid getting it dirty.
Off of the Ice
The following operations are performed off of the ice surface:
Dumping the snow tank on a level surface if possible.
Relling of water tanks.
Lower resurfacer - the weight of the resurfacer is approximately 1500 pounds
(680 kg) and the weight should not hang on the lift bar and hydraulic system
during storage.
