Using the Cutter Option
Printers that have a be zel with a mo tor ized blade can dis pense one or more
forms that are then au to mat i cally cut from the me dia sup ply. This op tion
cuts through con tin u ous pa per from rolls and liner be tween la bels. Keep
the cut ter dry. Never use any so lu tions or sol vents to clean the blade.
Use the ^MM com mand to ac ti vate the cut ter and the ^LL com mand to set
the form length and gap dis tance. See the ZPL II pro gram mer's man ual.
If the blade cuts through la bels, ad he sive
can jam the cut ter.
1. Turn OFF (O) printer power and
un plug the power and in ter face ca bles
be fore clearing the cut ter.
2. Af ter re mov ing de bris, plug in the
power and interface ca bles, turn on
the printer, then test for nor mal
op er a tion.
