Th e Se rvo 1 f e edb ack signal can be vie w ed within th e Diagnostic
Menu. The Value displayed depends on the direction and
amount of push-pull cabl e travel . As a general rule:
• When the Value displayed is
1023
or
0
, the problem is with
t h e wiri n g between th e po tentio m ete r an d pl u g.
• If the displayed Value varies, the potentiometer is defective.
• When the Value is slightly too high or too low when fully
extended, the potentiometer requires calibration.

One Long, One Short - High Repetitive Rate Tones
Th is tone is also ref erred t o as a
Jam Tone
. When sounded, Servo
1 is unable to reach the commanded position. In most cases
when a
Jam Ton e
is encounte red, it can be cleared b y moving the
Control Head lever back to the point pr ior to where the tone was
f irst enco untere d.
The tone will be accompanied by Error Code
62
and is typically
caused by one of the following reasons:
•
Stiff or frozen selector lever.
• Misadjusted push-pull cable.
• Defective push-pull cable.
• Low battery voltage.
• Defective Processor.
In order to isolate the cause to one of these five items, follow the
steps below:
A) Disconnect the push-pull cable from the selec tor lever.
B) Move the Control Head lever to Ahe ad, Ast ern, and back t o
Neutral.
• If the tone ceases continue with step C).
• If the tone is still present, skip ahead to step D).
C) Grab a hold of the selector lever and manually reposition
the lever.
• If the selector lever is very stiff it needs servicing.
• I f the se le ct or lever mo ves fre ely , the push- pull ca ble’s tr a vel is
misadjusted and needs to be corrected.
D) If the tone did not cease in step B), remove the push-pull
cable from the Processor.
E) Move the Control Head lever bac k an d for t h from Neutral
to A head to A stern.
• I f the tone ce ase s, the push- pull ca ble i s def ec tive and needs t o
be replaced.
