• Defective push-pull cable.
• Low battery voltage.
• Defective Processor.
In order to isolate the cause to one of these five items, follow the
steps below:
A) Tur n the power ON to the Proc es s or.
• If the tone is not present contin ue wit h step C)
• I f the t one is pre sent, check the DC volta ge t o the Proc essor b y
accessing the Diagnostic Menu

. If the voltage is adequate
continue with step B.
B) Disconnect the push-pull cable from the selector lever.
• If the tone is still present after cycling power, replace the Pro-
ces s o r.
• If the tone is no longer present, continue with step C)
C) If discon n ected, r econ n ect the push-pull cable.
D) Depress the Transfer Button while moving the Control
Head lever to the Ahead detent.
E) Release the tran sfer button an d continue to move the Con -
trol Head lever throug h the speed r an ge.
• I f the t one does not so und unti l the Control H ead le ver is close
to full throttle, Function Code

Throttle Maximum is misad-
justed.
• I f the tone sounds earlier than full throttle, cont inue w ith step
F).
F) Disconnect the push-pull cable from the selector lever.
G) Manually reposition the selector lever (Idle to Full).
• If the selector lever is very stiff it needs to be serviced.
• If the selector lever moves freely, the push-pull cable is defec-
tive and needs replacing.

When this ton e is sounded this tone will also be accompanied by
