a) TRi pH or TRi PRO module installed at the same me as the TRi chlorinator
• Locate the ow switch supplied with the TRi chlorinator.
• Screw the ow switch into the seat provided on the POD (hand-ghten).
The arrow indicang the water ow direcon on the top of the ow switch must be parallel with the pipe on
which the POD is posioned.
b) TRi pH or TRi PRO module added to an installaon already equipped with a TRi chlorinator
When the swimming pool already has a TRi unit, the ow switch is already installed. Leave the ow switch in place. Un-
screw the threaded adaptor located on the POD and replace it with the stopped supplied to seal the hole.
2.3.3 Installing the pH minus injecon line
When handling chemical products, always use appropriate safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves and jacket).
a) Installing the injecon line (peristalc pump > non-return valve)
• Remove the protecve cover from the peristalc pump,
• Cut a suitable length of pipe from the coil supplied to connect the
peristalc pump to the injecon non-return valve located on the
POD
• Aach the pipe to the threaded connector on the peristalc pump
outlet.
• Aach the other end of the pipe to the injecon non-return valve.
b) Installing the intake pipe (container > peristalc pump)
• Cut a suitable length of pipe from the coil supplied to connect the
container of pH minus to the peristalc pump.
• Aach the pipe to the threaded connector on the peristalc pump
inlet.
• Make a hole to t the diameter of the intake pipe in the cap of the
pH minus container and another smaller hole to avoid the con-
tainer distorng as the product is sucked up.
• Pass the free end of the pipe through the hole made in the cap and
put the ceramic counterweight and threaded locking nozzle on the end.
• Ensure that ALL connecons are correct and waterght before operang the TRi pH or TRi PRO module.
• Replace the protecve cover on the peristalc pump.
3. Use
3.1 Acvang the module
The Zodiac TRi power pack automacally detects the presence of a TRi pH or TRi PRO module. It is now ready to be used
with automac pH control using the TRi pH module or pH and ACL control using the TRi PRO module.
3.2 Display
The LCD screen will display 2 extra lines:
- TRi pH module:
pH set point
