Other functions
High pass lter
This sets a function that cuts low frequencies in the input signal.
This function can reduce noise, including the sound of wind and vocal pops.
Phase inversion
The phase of the input signal can be inverted.
This is useful when sounds cancel each other out due to mic settings.
Delay
If there are differences in the timing of input sounds, use this function to
correct them when recording.
Recording le names The names given to les automatically during recording can be set.
File format
The format used for recording WAV les can be set.
This sets whether audio through Inputs 1 and 2 are recorded as separate
mono les or as a single stereo le.
Pre-recording
Before recording is started, input signals can be captured for a certain
amount of time.
Sound markers
Tone signals can be output from the output jacks when recording is started.
Tone signals are also written in recording les.
Recording counter
This sets whether the elapsed recording time or the remaining possible
recording time is shown during recording.
Headphone alert
sound level
The volume can be adjusted for alerts output from headphones when, for
example, recording starts and stops.
Line output level
This adjusts the line output level.
Test tones can be played in order to adjust the level for a digital SLR camera
or other device.
Line output limiter
The line output limiter can be used to reduce signals with levels that are too
high. This can protect devices connected to the LINE OUT jack.
Line output delay
By delaying line output, timing differences for audio input into another device
can be corrected.
USB audio interface The F3 can be used as a 2-in/2-out audio interface.
USB le transfer
By connecting with a computer, data on the microSD card can be checked and
copied.
Bluetooth

Function
The F3 can be operated from a smartphone or tablet by connecting a ZOOM
BTA-1 or other dedicated wireless adapter and using the dedicated F3 Control
app.
By connecting a supported timecode device, SMPTE timecode can also be
input to the F3.
