Why is my Zoom H6 device not recognized by my computer?

  If your Zoom Measuring Instruments device isn't recognized when connected via USB, there are several potential reasons. First, the computer's OS might not be compatible, so verify compatibility. A USB operation mode must be selected on the device to allow a computer to recognize it. Also, if a CD player or another device is connected to an input jack, its output level may be too low, so raise the output level of that device. Check the input level settings.

What to do if my Zoom H6 recording is not possible?

  If you're unable to record with your Zoom Measuring Instruments, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The SD card might be full, so confirm that it has open space. Alternatively, the hold function might be enabled. If “Hold is On” appears on the display, disable the hold function.

  If you're experiencing very quiet or no sound from your Zoom Measuring Instruments, check the connections to your monitoring system and its volume setting. Also, confirm that the volume of the device itself is not set too low.
