1. Touch the Home Key > > Settings >
Security > Screen lock.
2. Touch Long press, Pattern, PIN or
Password.
Long press
Touch and hold at the center of the screen,
or drag towards any direction to access
the application shortcuts.
Pattern
You must draw a pattern to unlock the screen.
The first time you set this, a short tutorial
about creating an unlock pattern appears.
Then you’re prompted to draw and redraw
your own pattern.
PIN or Password
Set a numeric PIN or a password that you
must enter to unlock your screen.
Switching to Sleep Mode
To save battery power, Sleep Mode suspends
your device to a low-power-consumption state while
the display is off. Your device also goes into Sleep
Mode by itself when the display is automatically
turned off after a certain period of time, which you
can set in > Settings > Display > Sleep.
