Set a time delay before the camera automatically takes a picture after you
tap the shutter icon.

Turn on or o High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode (available only for the
back camera).
11 Change the ash setting (available only for the back camera).
WARNING! Keep a safe distance when using the ash. Do not point the ash toward the
eyes of people or animals.
NOTES:
You can use the Volume Key or pinch or spread your ngers on the screen to zoom in
or out before taking a picture.
When you use the front camera, you can tap to adjust the smile detection setting.
Using Manual Camera Mode
You can use the Manual camera mode to adjust more camera options for your photo,
such as ISO, white balance, and exposure.
1. Press the Home Key > > MANUAL.
2. Aim the camera at the subject. You can make the following adjustments.
Drag to any area on the screen that you want to focus on.
Drag to any area on the screen where you want the camera to meter exposure so
as to adjust the photo brightness.
• Tap
to adjust shutter speed.
Tap to adjust ISO.
Tap to adjust overall exposure when shutter speed is set to Auto.
Tap to adjust white balance.
Tap to adjust the focus of the picture or to turn Auto focus on or o.
3. Tap to take the photo.
Using Other Camera Modes
Besides capturing photos in the traditional way, your Camera app oers other powerful
and interesting camera modes. Tap MODES in the viewnder screen to nd them all.
PANORAMA: Capture panorama photos.
MULTI EXPOSURE: Choose from several options to capture multiple photos for
a collage.
INTERVAL: Set a time delay before the camera automatically takes a picture after
you tap the shutter icon.
Recording a Video
1. Press the Home Key > .
2. Aim the camera at the subject and make any necessary adjustments. You can tap
any area on the screen that you want the camcorder to focus on before and during
recording.
NOTE:
You can pinch or spread your ngers on the screen to zoom in or out before and
during recording.
3. Tap to start recording. You can also tap /
to pause or resume recording.
NOTE: While recording is in progress, you can tap to save the frame as a photo.
4. Tap to stop recording.
Customizing Camera and Video Settings
Before capturing a photo or video, you can tap
to open the following camera
setting options:
CAMERA
Picture size: Set the image size for your photo. Available for the front camera and
Manual mode.
Full screen: Set the viewnder screen as full screen when the back camera is in use.
