Setting a Song as the Default Ringtone
You can set a song as the ringtone for all incoming calls, except those from contacts to
whom you have assigned special ringtones (see Contacts – Editing Contacts – Setting a
Ringtone for a Contact), or as the default notication sound.
1. Press the Home Key > > Music to see the music library.
NOTE: If you are in the playback screen, tap or simply swipe downwards to return
to the music library.
2. Tap next to a song in any list.

In the menu that opens, tap Set as ringtone.

Tap Phone Ringtone or Notication Ringtone.
NOTE: If the song is being played and you’re on the playback screen, tap >
Set as
ringtone
and select Phone Ringtone or Notication Ringtone.
Playing Music
Tap a song in the music library to listen to it.
Tap the playback bar at the bottom of the screen
to open the following playback screen.
Number Function
1 Return to the music library.

Album artwork. Slide left/right to switch to the next/previous song in the
playlist.
3 Check the track information.
4 Turn shue on or o.

Playback control: Skip songs or pause and resume playback. Drag the
progress bar to jump to any part of the track.

Toggle repeat mode: no repeat, repeat the current track, or repeat the
current playlist.
7 Add the track to the Favorites playlist.
8 Access additional options.
9 Tap to see the current playlist (queue).
You can still control the music when you are not in the playback screen.
• In other apps, swipe down the Notication Panel. Tap the song title to restore the
playback screen, or you can pause/resume playback or skip songs.
• When the screen is locked, the song information, album cover, and playback controls
are displayed on the screen. Tap the song title to restore the playback screen, or you
can pause/resume playback or skip songs.
