5.2.2 PIN Configuration
When you use the PIN configuration method, you need to use both WRE2206’s configuration
interface and the client’s utilities.
1 Launch your wireless client’s configuration utility. Go to the WPS settings and select the PIN method
to get a PIN number.
2 On the WRE2206, navigate to the Network > Wireless LAN > WPS Station screen.
3 In the WRE2206’s Web Configurator, select Registrar in Config Mode.
4 In the WRE2206’s Web Configurator, enter the PIN number in the Input client PIN code.
5 Click the Start buttons (or the buttons next to the PIN fields) on both the wireless client utility
screen and the WRE2206’s WPS Station screen within about one minute, then wait two minutes
for the WPS configuration to complete.
The WRE2206 authenticates the wireless client and sends the proper configuration settings to the
wireless client. Then the wireless client is able to communicate with the WRE2206 securely.
The following figure shows an example of how to set up wireless network and security on WRE2206
and wireless client (ex. NWD210N in this example) by using PIN method.
