  If the alert indicator illuminates, alert sounds, and the display flashes a temperature of 33°C or below along with the word “LO,” it indicates an under-temperature condition. This can be caused by very high flow using very cold fluid, or a defective heater/relay. The alerts should stop when the temperature rises above 33°C. If alerts continue, turn off the unit, unplug it, and discontinue use. Call 3M Patient Warming technical support.

Also, if the warming unit is below the patient level, raise it above the patient level.
