BRAKE DRUM BEARING (DE-LUXE MO DELS)
The independent ball bearing upon w hich the rear brake drum is mounted, is packed
with grease upon assembly and requires no further attentio n for a considerable time.
During a general overhaul howeve r it is recommended that the bearing is dismantled and
re-packed with fresh hub grease.
LUBRICATION CHART
The figures in diamond frames refer to parts located on the left hand side of the machine
and those in circles refer to parts located o n the right hand side, and apply to both
single and twin cylinder models.

When buying oils and greases it is advisable to specify the Brand as well as the grade
and, as an ad ditional precaution, to only buy in sealed containers or from branded cabinets.
BRAKE EXPANDER LUBRICATION
Grease nipple on each brake expander bush. (One on each brake cover plate.) Use
grease sparingly. Excessive grease may impair efficiency of brakes.
