What does it mean when my A.O. Smith FPSH Water Heater LED status shows 4 flashes?

One possibility is that the ECO has been activated, the Blower Assembly is energized, or there's an internal hardware failure. In this case, replace the ECO and gas control valve. Alternatively, it could be that a flame signal is sensed out of sequence, and the Blower Assembly is energized. Ensure that the burner stays lit and that the igniter wires are not loose at the gas valve; if issues persist, replace the gas control valve.

Why is the flame yellow on my A.O. Smith FPSH Water Heater?
