7.6 Condensateventcollectiveuegasoutletsystem
Flue gases condensate inside the outlet system. Anticipate approx. 1 litre of con-
densate per m3 of natural gas spent on heating. The resulting condensate has to be
drained.
Therefore, collective ue gas outlet systems have to be tted with a condensate drai-
nage facility. Using a plastic siphon, the drainage is connected to the sewage system
by means of an open connection. The diameter of the condensate drainage is 40 mm
and may be made of PVC.
The condensate drainage of the ue gas vent system may be combined with the boi-
lers´ condensate pipe work headers.
Drainingcondensatewaterontherainwaterdrainageisnotallowedduetothe
riskoffreezing.
