34 Mechanical installation
To unpack the package, cut the bands (A) and remove the outer box (B) and sleeve
(C).
Note: This figure shows the package of an ACS800-04 module, frame size R7. There
can also be additional accessory boxes that are not shown in the figure.
Before installation
Delivery check
Make sure that all of the items listed in
Unpacking the unit
(page 33) are present.
Make sure that there are no signs of damage.
Before you attempt installation and operation, read the information on the type
designation label of the drive to make sure that the unit is of the correct type. See
Type designation label
(page 26).
Requirements for the installation site
Examine the installation site according to the requirements that follow. See
Ambient
conditions
(page 122) for the operation conditions.
