Warning. In extreme/
hazardous conditions, e.g.
exposed areas with long cable
runs and instances of large
electrical surges, it is
recommended that commercial
high level transient protection
is used.
Information.
Sensor cable runs over long distances can
pick up transients which could impair the
operation of the L160. Transient protection
within the L160 Level System gives
protection against induced voltage
transients of up to 2kV.
Caution. In high humidity
environments, condensation must be
prevented from entering any sensor vent
(breather) tubes.
