3.1 SECURITY SYSTEM
The robotic dispenser packaging station is equipped with a number of
mechanical and electrical protections
and software, ensuring its safe use.
The status of all safety devices can be checked using a specially
prepared screen on the PLC operator panel.

MECHANICAL
The robotic cell is secured on two sides
with PMMA walls and on both sides with
glass service doors in the IRB 360 robot
working area, while the box
exchange/unloading area is secured with a
2.3 m high protective fence with a service
door.
All service doors in the application are
equipped with security locks. Opening the
door prevents the robot and feeder from
operating in the automatic cycle.
ELECTRICAL
The entire application (zone 1 and zone 2)
has two types of security:
- emergency stop buttons 3 pcs. –
zone 1, 5 pcs. - zone 2
- service door 1 pc. –
zone 1,
2 pcs. zone 2
Emergency stop buttons are located on:
- operator panel on the frame leg
- two boxes on the frame legs inside the
cell
- HMI operator panel – +P0 cabinet
