Displayed current in LCD is not stable. The motor is too small.
(current is out of measuring range).
• Check that the softstarter corre-
sponds to the motor size.
Motor does not start with eldbus Softstarter has tripped on fault or protec-
tion.
• Perform a reset on any active event.
See chapter 6.1.5 Reset of tripping
events.
Softstarter is in Local Mode. • Check that the Auto Mode bit of the
binary output telegram setting is 1.
• Check that the Local Mode digital
input on the FieldBusPlug accessory
is set to Remote.
Fieldbus Operation When Fault parameter
is set to LocC.
• If the parameter Fieldbus Operation
When Fault is set to LocC, there will
be a 10 second delay before it is pos-
sible to re-start after communication is
reestablished.
Digital or binary signals incorrect. PLC conguration incorrect. • Check PLC conguration.
Loading of parameters with eldbus does
not work properly.
Fieldbus settings • Verify that parameters are matching
between the PLC and the softstarter
eldbus documentation for the eld-
bus protocol used.
• Verify that eldbus Download Param-
eter is set to dPon.
• Ensure that block-parameters are
enabled.
