4.4 Number plate viewing angle
The following parameters for the viewing angle relative to the number plate plane must be
respected:
Vertical angle: Max. 30 degrees
Horizontal angle: Max. 30 degrees
4.5 Required resolution for number plate recognition
A PC graphics programme (e.g. Microsoft Paint) can be used to determine whether the image
resolution achieved or set is sufficient for number plate recognition.
The minimum number of pixels required for displaying the number plate is as follows:
Width (min): 130 pixels
Height (min): 30 pixels
