Manual triggering of alarms is possible by simultaneously pressing the correspond-
ing dual keys (fire alarm, hold up alarm, medical alarm) on the alarm system or con-
trol device.

You are using the touch front on the alarm system. The backlighting is set to “When
active” and the backlighting is dark.
The backlighting is first activated when a key has been touched (first touch). No
other action results from this "first touch". The keypad functions as normal from the
second touch on.
