Notes:
The meter uses two 3-volt lithium batteries, type 2032. This type of battery can be •
found in many stores. It is a good idea to have spare batteries available. Batteries
can also be obtained by calling the Accu-Chek Customer Careline on
0800 701 000 (UK) or 1 800 709 600 (ROI).
Be sure the batteries are inserted • (+) side facing down or facing away from you.
After you change the batteries, the meter prompts you to confirm the meter’s time •
and date settings. All test results remain saved in memory. (Refer to the section
“Setting the Time and Date” in Chapter 3 “Meter Memory, Setup and Downloading”
for instructions on how to set the time and date.)
Always replace both batteries at the same time and with the same brand.•
