Understanding Your Test Results
What’s Normal?
The normal fasting adult blood sugar range for a non-
diabetic is 70 - 105 mg/dL

. One or two hours after
meals, normal blood sugar levels should be less than
140 mg/dL

. Your doctor will determine the range
that is appropriate for you.
Unusual Test Results
IF... AND...
you experience symptoms
of high or low blood sugar,
your blood sugar result is
within the “normal” range,
