6.2 Circuit Operation Theory
I. Introduction:
The P244W is a 24” W (1920x1080), LCD type is TN+Film and Normally White, 16.7M
colors(R, G, B 6-bit data + Hi-FRC data) TFT LCD with HDCP support monitor. It’s have triple (D-
SUB and 2 HDMI) interface LCD monitor with a 15 pins D-sub signal cable. It’s compliant with
VESA specification to offer a smart power management and power saving function. It also offers
OSD menu for users to control the adjustable items and get some information about this monitor.
The best function is to offer users an easy method to make Auto Adjustment items well done just
by pressing hot key, we called it “Auto” which can manual controlled items.
P244W also offer DDC/CI function to meet VESA standard.
II. Block diagram
The P44W consists of a LCD module with 4 lamps, a power board, a control board,
and an interface board. The block diagram is shown as below.
