Diagnostic Display
PROGRAMMING MODES
Displayed when the lift is being
programmed.
NORMAL OPERATION
Displayed when the lift is
operating correctly.
FAULT CONDITIONS
Any of these codes may be displayed if the Stairlift has failed
to operate.
Lift is in Standby Condition and
ready to use
Lift is in Standby Condition but
holding switch is set to off
Lift is moving up the rail
Lift is moving down the rail
Lift is at its correct stopped
position
Batteries are fast charging
(small light on)
Batteries are trickle charging
(small light flashing)
No datum is set
Datum search is on
Programming mode is on
Programming the terminal
limits (charge point positions)
Blank Display
– No battery power
The Seat is swivelled out of its
operating position
The Hinged Rail is not down in
its operating position
The Seat or Footrest are not
in their operating positions
(certain applications only)
A Pressure Sensitive Edge
(PSE) has been activated
Conflicting call signal between
the lift armrest control and the
remote control
There is insufficient charge in
the batteries to allow the lift to
complete a full journey.
Over-speed Governor is
not rotating
Levelling over travel limit
switch protection
Printed Circuit Board power
frame failure
Main Drive Motor Polarity
is wrong
Levelling Motor Polarity
is wrong
Encoder Failure (on Main Drive
or Levelling Drive)
Accelerometer failure
Installation Error (Flashing
Display) OR if displayed when
the lift is being called, it
indicates Motor Brake Failure
Feed Fault – No Power on main
control circuit
The Stairlift has overrun the
normal parking position and
activated the Final Limit
Switch.
Over-speed Governor has
been activated
Lift is out of level - electronic
shut down
Lift is not being charged
(Flashing Display and audible
bleep alarm)
Main Drive Over Speed
Levelling Over Speed
THESE CODES WILL ONLY BE DISPLAYED WHEN
A CALL HAS BEEN MADE
