RAIL INSTALLATION

Rail Installation
Tighten the rail fixings to the recommended Torque settings - see Appendix 2.
Joining the rail
The stairlift rail is shipped in several pieces. Refer to the installation drawing that all pieces are correct and
marked as per drawing. Check correct number of legs are supplied.
IF THE CARPET ON THE STAIRTREAD IS NOT FULL WIDTH, THEN MAKE THE CUSTOMER
AWARE THAT THE FOOT OF THE LEG WILL BE PUSHED UNDER THE CARPET. IT IS THE
CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE A CARPET FITTER CUT THE CARPET TO FIT, OR FIT
AN INLAID PIECE. WE DO NOT CUT CARPET.
MAXIMUM LENGTH OF RAIL.
DO NOT EXCEED 25M, THIS IS THE LONGEST RAIL RECOMMENDED.
