The Remote Control can be used for a multitude of
applications for both personnel and equipment lifting.
The ACX Ascender can be operated by
a Remote Control to a distance of up to
150 metres (492 ft) in direct line of sight.
The Remote Control will interrupt the
throttle control on the Ascender when
used. The operator of the Ascender can
take back control by using the throttle.
(This is a new function). If the Remote
Control is not used for 10 seconds,
control is automatically returned to the
Ascender. Control is instantly returned
to the Ascender when the remote is
turned off with the Power button.
