    What to do if outdoor temperature/humidity is flashing on ACU-RITE 06042M Weather Station?

      If the outdoor temperature and/or humidity on your ACU-RITE Weather Station is flashing or showing dashes, wireless interference might be the issue. Try this: bring the wireless sensor and display indoors, remove at least one battery from each, reinstall the battery in the wireless sensor first, then reinstall the battery in the display. Let the units sit within a couple feet of each other for a few minutes to establish a strong connection.

      If your ACU-RITE Weather Station is showing inaccurate temperature or humidity readings, ensure both the display and wireless sensor are placed out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or vents. Also, make sure the display is positioned away from moisture sources.

      If your ACU-RITE Weather Station shows no wireless sensor or rain gauge reception, with no bars displayed, try the following: * Relocate the display and/or the wireless sensor, ensuring they are within 330 ft (100 m) of each other. * Relocate the display and/or the rain gauge, ensuring they are within 100 ft (30 m) of each other. * Ensure both units are at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from electronics that may interfere with wireless communication, such as TVs, microwaves, or computers. * Use standard alkaline batteries (or lithium batteries in the sensor when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC). Avoid heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. Note that it may take a few minutes for the display and sensor to synchronize after batteries are replaced.
