    • M
      Michael MillerAug 1, 2025
If your AcuRite Weather Station display screen isn't working, first, double-check that the batteries are correctly installed. If they are, try replacing them, as the current batteries may be depleted.

Why is the forecast inaccurate on my AcuRite 827 Weather Station?
    • J
      Jonathan CrosbyAug 7, 2025
If your AcuRite Weather Station is showing an inaccurate forecast, keep in mind that the forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not the current conditions. Also, ensure that the Learning Mode icon has disappeared from the display unit, as Learning Mode must complete for accurate forecasts and pressure readings. Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days, as battery removal or resetting the display unit will restart Learning Mode. The forecast should be fairly accurate after 14 days, but Learning Mode calibrates for a total of 33 days.

      Taylor ValentineAug 12, 2025
If your AcuRite Weather Station is showing inaccurate temperature or humidity readings, make sure both the display unit and the sensor are placed out of direct sunlight and away from any heat sources or vents. Also, ensure that both units are positioned away from any moisture sources.

How to fix no outdoor sensor reception on AcuRite 827?
    • S
      Stacey GarciaAug 18, 2025
If your AcuRite Weather Station's wireless signal indicator shows no bars, try the following: • Relocate the display unit and/or the outdoor sensor, ensuring they are within 165 ft (50 m) of each other. • Make sure both units are placed at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics that may interfere with wireless communication, such as TVs, microwaves, and computers. • Use standard alkaline batteries (or lithium batteries in the sensor when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC). Avoid using heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. It may take up to 20 minutes for the display unit and sensor to synchronize after batteries are replaced.

What to do if outdoor temperature is flashing on AcuRite 827?
    • J
      John MartinAug 25, 2025
If the outdoor temperature on your AcuRite Weather Station is flashing or showing dashes, it generally indicates wireless interference. To resolve this: 1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each. 2. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor. 3. Reinstall the battery in the display unit. 4. Let the units sit within a couple of feet of each other for about 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.
