How to fix inaccurate temperature or humidity on my AcuRite Weather Station?
    • N
      Nicole HarrisAug 1, 2025
To correct inaccurate temperature or humidity readings on your AcuRite Weather Station, ensure that both the display unit and 5-in-1 sensor are placed away from any heat or moisture sources. Also, make sure the 5-in-1 sensor is mounted at least 5 feet off the ground. You can also calibrate the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.

What to do if AcuRite Weather Station has no rainfall reading?
    • P
      Peter LeeAug 6, 2025
If your AcuRite Weather Station isn't registering rainfall, first check that the rain gauge stabilizer (plastic tab) has been removed from the bottom of the sensor. Also, clear any debris, such as leaves, from the rain collector funnel and debris screen. Calibrate the rain gauge if necessary. Verify the sensor’s internal tipping lever is moving freely by dripping a little water through the rain collector; you should hear the lever tipping. If not, you may need to clean inside the sensor.

Why are wind readings inaccurate on my AcuRite Weather Station?
    • B
      barrymatthewAug 11, 2025
Inaccurate wind readings on your AcuRite Weather Station can be due to several factors. Consider what the wind reading is being compared to; professional weather stations are typically mounted at 30 ft high or more, so compare data using a sensor positioned at the same mounting height. Check the sensor's location, ensuring it’s mounted a minimum of 5 ft in the air with no obstructions. Also, ensure the wind cups are spinning freely; if they hesitate, try lubricating them with graphite powder or spray lubricant.

Why AcuRite 01528 outdoor temperature is flashing?
    • D
      Drew GarciaAug 15, 2025
The outdoor temperature on your AcuRite Weather Station might be flashing due to wireless interference. Ensure the A-B-C switch in the battery compartments of both the display unit and sensor are switched to the same letter. Sometimes, changing to a different channel can also resolve this issue.

What to do if my AcuRite 01528 Weather Station display screen is not working?
    • J
      John WestAug 20, 2025
First, check that the batteries are installed correctly in your AcuRite Weather Station and replace them if needed. If that doesn't work, reset the display by pressing and holding the “CLEAR RECORD /RESET” button on the back of the display unit. Note that you will need to enter the date and time after a reset.

Why is my AcuRite Weather Station forecast inaccurate?
    • A
      Amanda LopezAug 26, 2025
The forecast icon on your AcuRite Weather Station predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. Ensure that the Learning Mode icon has disappeared from the display unit, as Learning Mode must complete before the forecast and pressure readings become accurate. Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days for full calibration. Removing batteries or resetting the display unit will restart Learning Mode. The forecast should be fairly accurate after 14 days, but Learning Mode calibrates for a total of 33 days.
